Project background : Oxfam Germany has been partnering with PALM Foundation since July 2014 in implementing an integrated community development with the main focus of promoting sustainable farming and environmental protection. From July 2015, Oxfam Germany supports a new project covering a larger geographical area and serving 1129 families in Walapane D.S. division which ends in 2017. PALM Foundation recruited new staff members to the new project adding to the staff pool of nearly 50 members who have different competencies. Though the key staff members have the required knowledge and skills related to the project scope, the staff requires regular capacity development training in upgrading their standards for better quality output. This includes short term trainings which enhance the capacity of 3 project staff and overall staff of PALM Foundation who deliver similar development work under other programme components
