Stage 1 - Activity based( up to1990 )

  • Established in 1985 by a group of Dutch volunteers headed by Ms. Natascha Sinnema
  • Implemented isolated / sectorial development activities

    • Stage 2 - project based(1991 to 1994)

  • Implemented systematic projects
  • Realized necessity of on term and integrated approach

    • Stage 3 - Program based (1995 onwards)

  • Adopted a participatory holistic development approach
  • Approach transformed from welfare need-based approach to a rights-based approach
