PALM Holiday Home is a social enterprise which is operated by the organization to generate funds for supplementing the ongoing social development programmes of the organization. It is situated in the city of Nuwara Eliya which is a famous tourist destination in Sri Lanka.
The building of the holiday home was built during the British era and subsequently occupied by Ms. Natascha Sennema who was the first Team Leader of PALM Foundation. The Home consists of four bed rooms and could easily and comfortably accommodate two families. Though it is not a luxurious place, it has all the basic amenities, and is known as a decent and clean guest house which maintains and harmonizes with the environment and its tranquility. The guesthouse will be in operation in the near future and moderately priced for anyone looking for complete relaxation and a get away from the usual busy life. Plans are also underway to conduct nature walks, trekking, bird watching and hiking experiences for the guests, keeping in mind that nature is all about experiencing and leaving it for the next generation to enjoy.
Note: This facility will soon be available once the ongoing renovation work of the building is completed.
