Project Goal

To increase the protection of Vulnerable Women and girls of rural and plantation areas in Nuwara Eliya district of Sri Lanka subjected to social discrimination and economic marginalization.

Main Activities

  • Emergency support for vulnerable individuals/households in hard-to-reach areas have access to essential goods to facilitate their return to their homes.
  • Assisting to affected individuals/households accessing to essential services, particularly health, water supply, sanitation, psychosocial support, and mechanisms for GBV.
  • Supporting to affected communities, particularly communities/households in the rapid resumption of economic activities and food production.
  • Supporting affected communities in resuming educational and child protection activities at the community level.
