Community Mobilisation Workshop – Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka
October 2, 2026
PALM Foundation hosted a five-day Community Mobilisation Workshop in Nuwara Eliya from 21st to 25th September 2026, bringing together field practitioners from PADEM partner organisations in Kenya, Mongolia and Sri Lanka.
The workshop provided a valuable space for participants to share experiences, exchange practical approaches and learn from one another on community mobilisation and participatory development. Through discussions, practical sessions and field visits, participants explored approaches to strengthening community participation and community-based organisations, particularly in working with vulnerable communities.
The photographs below capture some of the moments from this enriching week of learning, sharing and building connections across communities and countries.
