Final Dissemination Event - Better Vision, Healthy Ageing Program

“A new era for healthy and active ageing”

We would like to cordially invite you to the Final Dissemination Event for the Better Vision, Healthy Aging Program.

The Better Vision, Healthy Ageing Program will be drawing to a close at the end of March. This has been a collaborative Program in Nuwara Eliya district to address the rapid ageing of the population. The aim has been to learn lessons about how healthy ageing strategies, such as the establishment of Elders’ Clubs and health promotion, can contribute towards the quality of life and health status of elders and towards prevention and management of eye health problems. The Program partners are the Ministry of Health Vision 2020 Programme, the National Secretariat of Elders, PALM Foundation, Berendina, Sarvodaya and Plantation Human Development Trust.

This event will be held at BMICH (Committee Room B) on the 17th of March 2016 from 2.00 pm to 4.15 pm.

You are welcome to arrive anytime from 1pm onwards and proceedings will begin promptly at 2pm. There will be a number of interesting displays and resources in the foyer for you to browse and collect.
